This is the blog for Keepthescore.co, the world’s simplest online scoreboard.

Hello World!

As of right now, Keepthescore has a blog which will provide you with more in-depth information on

  • what’s going on and what we’re working on
  • why we’re working on it
  • learnings, failures, successes
  • some hands-on documentation and examples for specific features
  • sporadic attempts at humor

A tribute to the gods of SEO

Another reason for having a blog is of course that it provide an expansive green pasture for the Google Bot (and others) to graze on 🐮. What this means is that the blog will provide a lot more content for search engines to ingest meaning that in theory (🤞) users will find this content more often.

Cows on a field

At some stage we’ll write up some more about our SEO strategy.

The tech stack of this blog

This blog is created by a static site generator called Hugo. Static site generators are used when you don’t want to have a database for storing your content: using a database for a (small) blog is a lot of work, totally uncool, and unnecessary.

The theme for this blog is Bootstrap4.

That’s all folks

And so our first post draws to an end. Help us celebrate this momentous occasion by leaving a comment below. Thanks!
