What are the advantages of having a widget?
A scoring widget makes your content dynamic and will increase the frequency that your audience returns to you. Integrating a widget on your website or blog will immediately make it stand out – whilst the effort required is minimal.
Below an example of a scoreboard widget from Keepthescore.co. What’s really nice is that this widget updates automatically without reloading the page.
Easy integration without touching code
Adding the widget to your website does not require any coding or working with APIs. You do not even need to register (provide email and password). You can literally get started and have a working leaderboard or scoreboard that is ready for integration in less than 60 seconds.
The widgets are easily integrated into existing solutions like Wix, Square, WordPress or Drupal, and once you’ve done it, not further work is required!
Live view: scores update automatically
Once you have integrated your scoreboard or leaderboard, it updates itself automatically.
To update scores you use the admin link to your scoreboard or leaderboard – all integrated widgets will update automatically. This means that all the work is done in the browser. No software needs to be installed at all – it works great on Windows, Mac or Linux.
Customize the look of your leaderboard or scoreboard
It’s very easy to change the look of a scoreboard or leaderboard from Keepthescore.co, allowing you to visually integrate seamlessly into your website. Scoreboards can be embedded on any web page and with a few simple tweaks can fit in with any existing themes. You can find a gallery of available themes here.
